Usually I am a size 6 (I am tall 5ft 10.5" - and I have a long torso which makes for awkward fitting at times), size 8 for smaller cuts. I ordered size 10, because of a bad experience recently where I ordered from the same brand (my size 6) and as usual had to give the beautiful dress away. I expected that I would have had to get some adjustments made but the size 10 was a perfect fit. I received compliments all night. Id say that the dress is therefore made very small and a person may have to upsize somewhat. How much you do this is dependent on your body type. The dress is a beautiful classic dress which is well made. Its an excellent buy once the sizing is rightVery pretty on. I got soooo many compliments. I knew the black would fit because i got the blue previously. So nice I did it twice...Fit amazingly well. I received so many compliments!! Beautiful and feminine. The waist is a bit rigid as mentioned in other reviews, but if you're a 6-8, get a 10 to ensure proper fit.Absolutely loved this dress!
